This mat allows gymnasts to replicate the angle of the competition floor when practising diagonal movements, whilst reducing the risk of strain injuries. Gymnasts can attempt to land within the designated floor area.
The visual marker allows the mat to be positioned quickly in the correct place across the diagonal.
