This 4-part model, 2X life-size, is a detailed representation of the human brainstem and hypothalamus. The
brainstem is sectioned to show the hypothalamic nuclei; the thalamus is removable and divisible into two parts for inner examination. The insertions of the cranial nerves are easily recognizable on the surface of the brainstem.
