The Self Contained Exposure Unit is a cabinet type system for making direct or indirect stencils in the minimum of space. The clear glass area is fully utilised for direct stencils by mounting the highly flexible rubber blanket on the top of the rising rubber frame. Air is exhausted through holes on the inside faces of the suction chamber, which enables the screen frame to sit on the glass to its full extremes. The intimate contact required for stencil exposure is obtained from a high velocity suction unit which is extremely quiet. Large bore piping gives a remarkable ‘pull down’ time of less than 20 seconds. Two fluorescent lamps are fitted for ‘touching up’ positives etc. All controls including the Digital Readout Light Integrator are located on a panel fitted to a large detachable access door. Max.frame size 99 x 125cm (39" x 49"). Light source: Metal Halide, 400/1kw auto shutter. Dimensions: Height 114cm Width 148cm Depth 122cm. Weight: 181kgs.
