While a rain sensor collects water
outdoors, you can stay dry and record the
results from the wireless receiver. With a
transmission range of 300 feet, readings
can be gathered from nearly anywhere in
the laboratory. The rain center gathers data
for the total rain, and records rainfall over
the past 24 hours, in addition to indicating
current, light, and heavy rainfall. It also
features a programmable rainfall alarm.
The receiver can be mounted or freestanding.
