Easy to set up and use, this Capillary Apparatus nicely demonstrates the effects of capillarity and surface tension in fluids. The apparatus consists of a set of five interconnecting glass tubes of different diameters, which give students a clear insight into the relationship between tube diameter and the resulting capillary action due to surface tension.
