The Breathing Monitor can be used for investigating tidal volumes, reserve volumes and vital capacity. Constructed with a one piece stainless steel tank housed in a durable painted outer case. The float is constructed from light weight plastic and calibrated 0 to 7 x 0.5 liters with a metal counterpoise. When the tank is filled with water,the water in the float chamber is contained. In use the float will rise and fall, allowing readings to be taken directly off the float or it may be connected to a data logger with a motion sensor. Supplied with a mouth piece that fits into a corrugated breathing hose which snugly connects into Breathing Monitor.
