Students will be fascinated by this demonstration that at first explanation seems impossible. However, when students watch this Ballistics Car in action, they will both believe and comprehend an important physical science concept. Simply push the car and eject the steel ball from the attached spring loaded barrel. The ball falls back down into the barrel of the moving car, illustrating that the forward motion of the ball is the same as that of the vehicle from which it was ejected. Barrel permits two different heights of ball flight. Includes steel ball, release pin, and cord.
